1. Every time you have a negative thought, force yourself to have a positive one to balance things out. Do this for a week. Then try having only the positive ones.
2. Don’t rest on your laurels ‘ there’s always more to be done…
3. Asserting yourself also makes you feel good about yourself, which is probably the best overall thing you can ever do for yourself.
4. It is better to forgive and forget and to wipe the slate clean than to nurse a festering wound.
5. Stop worrying about money and go on a spending spree, making sure that everything you buy is for you.

1. Beauty in things exists in the mind which contemplates then.
2. Ring up your best friend and say something really nice to them.
3. Ring someone with whom you have lost touch and have been meaning to contact for ages.
4. The importance of friendship must never be underestimated.
5. A thing of beauty is a joy for ever.
6. “Beauty is truth, truth beauty,” that is all ye known on earth and all you need to know.

1. A certain amount of stress is necessary for our personal growth.
2. Too few challenges can be boring and frustrating, and can be just as stressful as too many challenges.
3. More important than the level of stress in your life is your ability to cope with it.

1. Meditation calms the restless mind while you are still awake.
2. Relaxation is a skill and, like all skills, it has to be learned and practiced regularly until it becomes second nature.

1. Every evening, jot down something positive that you’ve achieved that day.
2. Keep a running list ‘ you’ll be bowled over by how much you can achieve in a week, a month, a year…….
